Other Thoughts:
Jump The Shark.com is a popular website begun in 1997. Jump The Shark: TV Edition is a book based on the website.
The book jumped on page 70 when it claimed that Rick (Ricky) Schroeder was good on “NYPD Blue”.
The previous poster is obviously deluded. Rick (Not Ricky) Schroeder was excellent and gritty on “NYPD Blue”. Much better than the overrated David Caruso.
The previous posters are forgetting that we’re supposed to be talking about Jump The Shark the book. For me it jumped on the Contents page when it neglected to include “Mystery Science Theater 3000” which jumped when it went from Comedy Central to the Sci-Fi Channel which itself jumped when it later cancelled “MST3K” and relegated the reruns to the absurd timeslot of eight o’clock on Saturday mornings.
JTSTVE jumped when I realized that none of my postings to the site had been included in the book.
It jumped on the entry for “Happy Days” when it just said “Close this book and read the title again aloud. Now read it again.” What a copout! We fans deserve more respect.
I read a post where somebody said that Timmy from the Lassie Show died in Vietnam.
To the previous poster: Check your facts. It was Jerry (“Leave I To Beaver”) Mathers.
Jerry Mathers didn’t die in Vietnam. It was just a rumor. He’s still alive.
I know it was just a rumor about Jerry Mathers. In my previous post I was simply clearing up the previous poster’s erroneous assertion as to the identity of the subjetc of the rumor.
UR SO STUPID. THIS IS FOR TALKING ABOUT JUMP THE SHARK NOT SOME STUPID PEOPLE I NEVER EVEN HEARD OF.
It’s impossible to compare a book and the website upon which it’s based. They’re two totally different and separate mediums. Don’t even try.
We’re not comparing the JTS website and book. Check the title. This is a Jump The Shark: TV Edition book review.
IMHO JTS JTS. LOL!!!
Bran, stop screwing around and write the review.
Mark, this is the review.
