If Only These Walls Could Paint

If these walls could paint, I bet they wouldn't use so much white. I think there's a lot more of The Artist inside these walls than we suspect. We could be their canvasses. First, they go through that period of pencil sketches. That's when they learn about form, shape, texture, and light. Then, some of these walls branch off into etchings, while others go on to become great watercolorists, portraitists, pointalists or some other thing we haven't even grasped yet. But they don't latch onto a particular school of artistic thought. Oh no. These walls go beyond the expected. They refuse to be categorized by those who would be like the sushi critic and say, "This tastes fishy, while this other one, not so much fishy." These walls are artistic renegades, restless souls searching for redemption in the paint or in the etching stuff. As seeming prophets from long ago, these visionaries splash or etch before us our very destiny, showing us where we may or may not go, guiding us through the hallways of our lives. We should pay them.

Tales from the floor

Ever wonder what a floor would say if it could talk? Well ours does (and it's a "she", not an "it". Sorry.)
