Blue Lightning
Materials to collect:

  • Peppermint schnapps (or similar)
  • Blue food coloring
  • A shot glass for each player
  • Common household bleach and a window cleaner high in ammonia.

To play:
Who will get struck by "blue lightning?" Mix the schnapps and food coloring to match as closely as possible with the bleach/ammonia shot. Progress of play is just like musical chairs. Commonly the prize is a cake.

CC Rider
Materials to collect:

  • Astronomical reference
  • Small pieces of paper
  • Pen
    To play:
    Write the name of one astronomical body on each paper. Each player selects a piece, then attempts to the density of the object by writing the mass of one cubic centimeter of the object (in grams) on the piece. The closest to the correct mass wins. The prize: another lonely ride home.

    Materials to collect:

  • Various acrylic paints
  • A canvas for each player
  • Natural hair brushes
  • Gesso
    To play:
    Have a non-player disrobe and pose. Each player paints the subject. The first player to have his or her work displayed in a museum wins.

    Confession!
    Materials to collect:

  • Refrigerator box
  • Black robe
  • Rosary beads
    To play:
    Choose a "priest," and have him put on the robe and get in the box. Throughout the night, if anyone feels repentant they can talk to the "priest" through the box

    Materials to collect:

  • A pair of scissors for each player
    To play:
    The first player to expose 1" of his/her intestine wins.
